Peer tutor in Statistics and Biology 2005-2007 at St. Bonaventure Teaching Assistant for Psychological Statistics in 2005-2006 Have excelled in science courses such as: Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Chemistry (Biochem and Inorganic Chem specifically), Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Nutrition, Bachelor level Nursing courses I am willing to work with students of any age and I am especially proficient in the sciences and psychology. I am also willing to tutor in Math at the lower levels such as Algebra. I worked for two years at a community behavioral health center in Ohio (where I did my graduate work in clinical psychology), and feel comfortable working with students that may have learning disabilities and require specialized help. Hobbies
I am serious and focused when it comes to my school work, but I do have a very outgoing personality and love new experiences. I enjoy the outdoors, time spent with friends and family, and roadtrips on a whim! While working in a non-traditional nursing home for a year (2009) where I had to cook dinner for 13 people per night, I found out I have a love for cooking and now spend spare time trying out new recipes. With my experience tutoring, being a TA, and working in several nursing homes while I prepared to enter my nursing program, I have learned that I truly enjoy helping others, as I have a very giving and nuturing personality. I also love animals, especially dogs and horses!
