Hi, my name is Aviva, and I am studying in the Counseling Psychology Program. I am learning the most effective ways to provide support to people. My passion is supporting people, which led me to become a tutor. I have been tutoring for four years. I am available to help in a variety of subjects, but my favorites to help in are psychology and writing. I believe that writing is an important life skill, and I want to help students hone in on their writing abilities.My tutoring style is based on giving my students confidence. I like to make sure that each of my pupils realizes their potential and their capabilities. A lot of students are so overwhelmed with learning that they aren't able to recognize just how capable they are. I focus on developing a lesson plan that works with their specific needs. Outside of studying and tutoring, I enjoy traveling, as other cultures and languages amaze me. I recently spent a number of years traveling the US, Central America, and Southeast Asia. Aside from traveling, I love making pottery and studying herbalism.
